Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the ShikshaJet platform (“Service”, “Platform”, “we”, or “us”). By accessing, registering, or subscribing to ShikshaJet at shikshajet.in, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our companion Privacy Policy.

1Eligibility & Educational Scope

ShikshaJet is crafted for students, parents, tutors, and lifelong scholars from Class 1 through university graduation, including candidates preparing for competitive examinations (such as CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, JEE Main/Advanced, NEET-UG, UPSC, and Foundation STEM curricula).

If you are under 18 years of age, you represent that you have obtained the consent and supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or educational instructor to create an account and transact on the platform.

2Student Ownership of Handwritten Content

You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of your handwritten notes, diagrams, and uploaded work.

By submitting pages to ShikshaJet, you grant us solely a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to process, parse, extract OCR text, and generate diagnostic mistake reports for your personal educational use. We will never sell, publish, or publicly distribute your notes to any third party.

3Role of AI Diagnostics & Academic Guidance

ShikshaJet leverages state-of-the-art vision-language AI models to read varied handwriting, identify arithmetic slips, highlight omitted steps, and explain foundational concepts.

⚠️ Formative Diagnostic Tool: While our AI models strive for high accuracy, machine learning interpretations can occasionally contain hallucinations or discrepancies. ShikshaJet is intended as an assistive study companion. Always cross-verify critical textbook proofs, formal grade marksheets, and official examination syllabi with your teachers or standard academic textbooks.

4Acceptable Use & Academic Integrity

You agree to use ShikshaJet honorably and responsibly. Prohibited behaviors include:

Uploading unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or non-educational content.
Using automated scraping, bot networks, or reverse-engineering techniques against our APIs or OCR pipelines.
Attempting unauthorized access to other students' accounts, administrator dashboards, or underlying database instances.
Circumventing rate limits, verification tokens, or quota counters.

5Plans, Pricing & UPI Payment Verification

Payments are accepted directly through any standard Unified Payments Interface (UPI) app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Navi, Cred, or any UPI-enabled bank). When you transfer your subscription fee to our official merchant UPI ID, you will submit your 12-digit UTR / Transaction Reference Number on the platform for rapid verification.

Full 100% Refund Window: You are entitled to a full refund within 7 days of activating your first paid subscription plan if you find our OCR recognition or mistake diagnostics unsatisfactory for your handwriting.
How to Claim: Simply email us at support@shikshajet.in with your registered email address and UPI Transaction ID / UTR. No lengthy questionnaires required.
Processing Time: Once requested, refunds are processed within 3 to 5 working days directly back to the original UPI account or bank payment method from which the payment was made.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. There are no recurring auto-debit traps; plans do not automatically charge your account without your explicit approval.

7Account Security & Verification Integrity

For security, verification OTPs are strictly dispatched to your verified email address from onboarding@shikshajet.in. Codes are never displayed on-screen or shared over unsecured channels. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and notifying us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.

8Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. In the event of any claim or controversy arising out of or related to these Terms, the parties shall endeavor to resolve the dispute amicably through informal negotiations with our Grievance Officer (grievance@shikshajet.in). If unresolved, the competent courts in India shall possess exclusive jurisdiction.
